They don't seem to care about how the place looks. Really, don't look too close, but the breakfast is the best I've had in London in a long time. Eggs perfect over easy and bacon just right. Nicely presented and toast crisp. Well done, really. It often seems quite busy there. Price is also very reasonable. It's a bit of an old fellows culture in there. I think there are a lot of regulars. A little slice of the neighbourhood. Not a lot of seating so I'd go on an off time like brunch or just after lunch on a weekend. Haven't tried anything else there but the breakfast. I went by myself and felt comfortable.
You know, even when I lived half a block away I really didn't go that often, but I am still somehow REALLY disappointed that this place wasn't even listed
A great no frills place to eat! The daily special was meatloaf, just like Mom used to make. One would think they were in a diner from the sixties, not made up to look that way, you see what you get. I'm going back for...breakfast special.
This a little hole in the wall place located in a neighbourhood in central London. The décor is very minimalist and rough. The meals are simple fare with the standard breakfast and lunch. All are prepared fresh and done well. The prices are very competitive....Seating is very limited. Being a small diner the server makes sure you are taken care of and content. Its a don't bother dressing up, eat and go kind of place. It has a strong local following and if you decide to become a regular, you will be treated well.
