Mama's Hot Italian Sandwiches - London

Did not know this place existed.I missed the veal sandwiches I used to get in Toronto and had high hopes for this shop.Service was friendly.This is a small shop that has some seating but most people seem to carry out their food items.Bun is big and veal was nice. I am used to piles of peppers from my days in Toronto.So, good but not fantastic. I will reserve my full opinion and try again.

I tried the eggplant and meatball sandwiches and they were very tasty, and very big, good comfort food.

Was not impressed with the food or the service, Had to wait almost a half hour for my chicken parmesan sandwich and the bun was stale and the chicken was terrible, I felt sick after eating it. Would not recommend this place try somewhere else.

This place is on the east end of town, but worth the trip if you're really craving a hot Italian sandwich. I'd say it's one of the best in London. I usually order the chicken or the veal parm and both are great. They are massive and always taste fresh. The owner is also hilarious! It is in a less-than-ideal part of town, so the location is a negative. But it's pretty cheap so try it out if you're feeling Italian sandwiches!

Huge sandwich that will keep you full well past dinner. Favorite is steak with the works. Been coming here for some time now and have never been disappointed. A bit pricey but is a nice change from the normal.
