Bidra med feedbackEssen looks good, they didn't make it more obvious that they weren't interested in having a single diner there. Only with reservation, which is understandable, but when I asked if I could make a reservation on site because there were empty tables, I didn't get a clear answer why I wouldn't have a table...
It was good. But I'm gonna be brutally honest... At least for the day I went, It is not worth the expensive price. The Entrée (brioche) and the dessert (lemon cheesecake) were AMAZING, the rest was average. The salmon was pretty good and the chicken was good, but nothing from this world. Well, so much money to eat laughs and chicken REALLY disappointed me as I saw many exquisite ingredients published in the pictures on social media... The lowest point was the lemon Orzo with Zuchinni, which was honest not better than any Hello Fresh food. I wish the service was a bit more personal, joyful and warmer, for example, the boss did not even say hello to us... they had no more than 10 people there, and it would be of good taste for the cook to imagine and welcome us... but still this is my personal preference. Again, I don't mean to be hard, I think there's only room for improvement and don't think it's worth the price as you eat the same level food for 1/4 of this value. It is a very good place if you analyze LONDON, but if you compare places in Toronto, and Montréal it history is very different.
WOW! Our first experience in Reverie was for our anniversary and it was incredible! A young couple brings the restaurant together. The cook is extremely creative and passionate about supporting local farmers. The quality and presentation of the courses is of the highest quality. The menu is fixed, it was 4 courses (by Kovid and you can choose additional supplement courses if desired (Waygu was one of them and absolutely fantastic! They also offer wine pairings with the courses and I highly recommend this! The wines are very carefully selected to get the most out of the course you enjoy, it was an amazing experience, with organic wines selected from small farms all over the world, unlike anything we had ever tasted. The owners have chatted with us at the end of the evening and taught us some secrets about cuts of meat, mushroom food and conservation etc. An excellent experience and we can wait to come back when the menu is up to 7-9 courses!
Show the best restaurant in London! My friend and I are here yesterday and we are blown away from the amazing food and service. The menu reminded me of the fine restaurants in Copenhagen, for example the new potato and yogurt dish, the fried salmon etc. I can't believe a restaurant is so good in London. The price is also really reasonable for what you get. Great work Brian and team!
Amazing meal for our anniversary celebration. It?s an intimate restaurant (seats 12) with a great story. The service, ambience and wine list were excellent. We?d definitely recommend this place and we will be back.
