Bidra med feedbackI purchased ube haleya at Island Pacific in West Covina last Tuesday, March 13, for $14.99, and I was extremely disappointed. It was overly sweet, had only a purple color, and had no discernible ube flavor whatsoever. I will make sure to inform all my friends and family to avoid any products from Betsy's in the future!
I am disappointed with my experience today, Saturday, February 4th. It feels like a waste of money, particularly with the Pan De Ube. The ube filling inside the bread was minimal—hardly any at all. I hope you can improve on this in the future. Thank you! I won’t be returning.
Bought this Pan de Ube yesterday Nov 15, 2022. The bread is already stale and super dry even if the expiration date is still on Nov 26, 2022. And how can you call this Pan de Ube when you can hardly taste the ube : not buying this ever again. My son was very disappointed
I have to start by saying that the owner is quite rude and unprofessional. The bakery itself is dirty and unkempt, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. I bought some fresh bread, but when I got home, I found gnats in the bag. I was very disappointed and couldn’t even get a refund. The floor was also filthy. Overall, a very unpleasant experience.
We found Betsy's Cake Center pandesal sold at our local Island Pacific grocery and were thrilled to see the ingredients appear to be Vegan friendly! Vegan pandesal yall! They are perfectly fluffy and delicious too! I'm hoping I didn't read the ingredients wrong because we are buying a bag every week now lol. Hope to find more vegan friendly Filipino treats!
