Casa Sanchez #1 - Long Beach

The service here is quick and friendly. The food is genuinely authentic, and the portion sizes are generous. You place your order at the counter, and you can choose to take it out or enjoy your meal at one of the few tables available both indoors and outdoors. Overall, I would rate the food 5 out of 5.

I ordered the daily special, which was enchiladas, and I was really disappointed. I found four chicken bones in my enchiladas and couldn't bring myself to finish even half of one. The rice was hard and burnt as well. On top of that, I had to wait 20 minutes for my food! Food: 1/5.

I only get takeout from this restaurant. You place your order at the window, pick it up, and enjoy it at home. The food is a great variety of Mexican cuisine and there's plenty of it. While you can eat there, I personally prefer to take it home. This place has been around for a long time, and the staff is friendly with good service.

Wet Burrito with everything! This is worth the money. I 've visited Casa Sanchez since the 80 's with locations in around Long Beach. Over the years, some locations vanished but this one On Anaheim Termino is still around. My favorite is the Wet Burrito with Carne Asada $10.50 approx. BUT worth it. For awhile this item lost the flavor profile and inspiration that I grew to like. It started being too rice bean heavy, boiled beef and not much, and bland red sauce. NOW, I recently went back and ordered one- loaded with lots I 'd grilled Carne Asada done right with the char-flavor, right proportions of rice, bean, cheese and sour cream. Smothered in a flavorful red sauce. This extra large Burrito size flour tortillas is fat stuffed and you gotta use a knife fork to navigate this one. Flavor profile is right on and so much to ear that I felt like those Lions on the Serengeti feasting on a wildebeest for days cause I are this over 3 meal periods. So that 's my take on Casa Sanchez. Get the Wet Burrito with the 'works '.

Best pricing and food for this area. I judge a place by it's beans and they're perfect... The people who work here are always nice and in a good head space...Food: 5/5
