The Beach Cafe - Long Beach

Robert Earl's took my taste buds on an incredible journey! The food was absolutely delicious, and I particularly loved the beef ribs, which were so much meatier than what you typically find at the grocery store. I ordered the beef lovers platter and the mini Texas combo, and every meat was flavorful and satisfying! I highly recommend this place. I've passed by it many times since I live just ten minutes away, assuming it was just another BBQ joint like the ones I've visited before that didn’t measure up, so I stopped searching for good BBQ. I'm definitely planning to return before I move back east. I wish I had tried this place sooner! A big thank you for the wonderful lunch today, and a special shout-out to Kevin at the front counter who took our order. He was very welcoming, and it was a nice coincidence when he mentioned North Carolina — my home state — while discussing Eastern BBQ styles.

This is some of the best barbecue I’ve had since I was a kid. It brings back memories of my dad's BBQ beef ribs. I truly felt transported back to Texas! I absolutely love this place and I'm so glad I discovered it!

I ordered the three-meat combo with two sides and honestly, I could have eaten off it for three or four days! The potato salad was fantastic, while the baked beans were just okay. The price was reasonable at $27. I definitely plan to return later this year to satisfy my BBQ cravings. Oh, and the spicy BBQ sauce is really delicious—not too spicy, so it won't burn your tongue or make your nose run, but it has a great flavor!

It's good! I wanted to order extra to take on the plane. I'm still considering calling to see if they will ship it.The place is clean. Sauce is good. It's cooked right. Price is good. Employees are nice. We have a winner.
