Papa John's Pizza - Lorton

The restaurant is conveniently located, and the delivery staff are usually quite attractive. Haha!

The new Mambo sauce wings were disappointing. I only received a light drizzle of sauce, and out of the three pieces, two were completely dry with no sauce at all. When I spoke to the manager, they mentioned how the staff is taught to prepare them. I was shocked!

Overall, I don't have major complaints. The deliveries take a bit longer than expected, especially since I don't live far from the restaurant. However, I really enjoy the pizza, particularly with the garlic butter and spices.

When picking up my pizza from this location, it wasn't a problem. When I got home and started eating I realized they didn't put the extra sauce on my pizzas that I ordered. It wouldn't have been a problem if I had a regular amount of sauce, but it was a little bit of sauce. I don't like dry pizza. I called the manager to complain, but I could hear him in the background saying he didn't have time to take my call. I understand they get busy, but a regular employee wasn't going to be able to help me. The person who answered the phone told me that the manager couldn't come to the phone and if I could call back in 10 to 15 minutes. Why should I have to call back when I called in the first place. I already had to pick up my own pizza because they don't deliver to my area, so taking a phone call from a customer shouldn't be a problem. I won't be ordering from this Papa John's anymore.

I've always had positive experiences with this restaurant. I usually order delivery through their app, and if you take a moment to look online, you can often find a voucher that makes your meal even better. Recently, I ordered a stuffed crust pepperoni pizza topped with three cheeses and added sausage. I found a 25% off voucher, which saved me about $7 on my meal. For dessert, I enjoyed some delicious cinnamon rolls. The service was excellent, and the driver was friendly and respectful. I couldn't have asked for more.
