Pasty Kitchen - Los Alamitos

Stopped by for a quick bite and tried beef pastry. It was really tasty and fresh. And tasted even better with the hot sauce. The staff were lovely too!

First time eating these. Bought the veggie ones, but we didn't care for them. Bland tasting on the inside and the dough had no flavor. They are good if you like bland food.

It's a walk-in establishment with no seating available, but that doesn't detract from the delicious Cornish pasties made from authentic English recipes. The hearty food comes at a great price, making it a must-try for anyone who hasn't experienced it yet.

This is EXACTLY as it sounds. It is a working kitchen that sells incredibly delicious baked Pasty 's (pronounced Past-e). They also sell a couple of other treats like an apple or peach turnover, and some other things that I have never purchased. I have gone there since I could drive and before they accepted debit or credit cards! They are amazing and always have been over the years. Every time I am in the area...which isn 't as often as I would like, I make a point to stop and get some. One to eat and several others for my wife and daughter! I prefer the beef pasty but have had the chicken. The large pasty is just too big unless you are severely hungry or starving. The flaky but doughy crust is what makes these the absolute best meal in a pocket there is. Try it! You will not be disappointed....and if you are.....you 're taste buds are dead.

You have to try it for yourself! You will be delighted. They offer frozen pasties to bring home and bake later, which is great when you can't decide... The food is always fresh, hand made, and delicious!
