Big Ant's Bbq - Los Angeles

This place is such a gem. The people who run it are kind and attentive they really get hospitality. The brisket burrito keeps me coming back. Big enough for two portions, and so so tasty. It’s a great value for what you get.

The food is sooooo good here. I find myself getting cravings for it. I always pick up to go though because although there is seating there, it's very basic, striped , no frills atmosphere and doesn't really add to my eating pleasure. The service is always quick and pleasant and there is always a steady stream of customers.

We moved to east LA from Burbank area and weren 't sure we 'd ever be able to replace Ribs USA for our BBQ needs but Ants does that and more. We find ourselves ordering ahead and picking up meat and sides when we get the hankering or when we have guests. I rated it a 2 on atmosphere ... because it 's clearly a takeout restaurant, so don 't let that keep you away (except if you 're looking to eat in).
