Bidra med feedbackFood wasn't good, and they forgot to put in my dessert request in until after the meal and said it would be 30 mins to get the pie so I just left without it. Nothing positive in the experience. Would not recommend.
The food was average. The shrimp was not deveined and the cheesy grits were cold. The chilaquiles could have used more protein besides just eggs. The burger was good, but the herb or truffle fries were the standout. The drinks were much better. I quickly finished my Eden cocktail while my wife enjoyed her Leilani. I could have easily ordered another round or two.
I wish I could give Ambience 10 stars! Not only is the parking convenient (a DTLA destination with great parking? Amazing!), but the lobby is welcoming, as are the staff at the Front Desk. Walking through the bar and Cafe area, I wanted to sit in each seating area. Each one was more inviting and comfortable than the next. I plan on returning many more times just for that. The three of us ordered the Avocado toast with jammy tomatoes and pickled onions, which was a real gem - I didn't have to share a single taste of mine!
The restaurant is situated inside the Figueroa Hotel, so you can either use their valet service or park in the lot next to the hotel. Street parking is very limited. The food and drinks were just average in my opinion. What was particularly disappointing was the long wait for the food and drinks to be served.
Perfect spot to relax and catch up with friends. It's a restaurant located inside a hotel, so there's also plenty of comfortable seating to lounge around in. We ordered a turkey club, tuna tartar, and the dip, and they were all so delicious. The tuna tartar could be better. The turkey club was the perfect amount of saucy and crispy bread. The service was great as well. The parking situation isn't too bad. It's downtown so ofc it's going to be pricey, but we did find a parking structure nearby for $3 for 3 hours.
