Bidra med feedbackWent there with friends almost 10 years ago and still remember how impressed we were with goat pot, it was such a hidden gem at that time, everything was in Korean and they did not do yelp so we couldn’t write a review at gave it a five star. So glad I accidentally find it again and will for sure to visit next time in LA.
Was a little confused if we found the right restaurant but it turns out that the storefront features its Korean name, 한미정, rather than the Yelp featured name, Goat.I ate the standard Goat Stew 염소탕 and its spicy and savory broth really hit the spot. The stew came with an ample amount of meat, making the price actually on the cheaper side for a goat meat dish.Fairly small restaurant, but they have a pretty big table so you can come reserve for a larger group. There's also parking both in the lot that the restaurant is located in and beside the building as well.
Nothing more need to be addressed. Excellent and tasty food, fast and friendly service, clean and tidy environment. Parking at the back of the restaurant. Note: restaurant located at the corner of the street, logo is in Korean. If you don't know how to read Koran, look for a red, blue and black logo.
I have to agree with the other comments. My wife took me to Goat knowing that I don't usually pick Korean restaurants, but I was blown away by the perfect balance of flavors in both dishes we ordered (Goat and fish soup). The staff is definitely outstanding and friendly, perfectly fitting the family vibe of the place.I was really impressed by this place. A hidden gem in LA that needs a few more visits for sure!
The food is excellent! Friendly service. Has become my favorite restaurant. Authentic Korean cuisine. I love it. Family-run business. Sometimes come from Long Beach just to have dinner here.
