Many places disappoint with weak broth and bland noodles, but Kyushu Ramen in the SFV stands out as possibly the best. Their broth is rich and flavorful, the noodles are perfectly chewy and tasty, and the portions are just right. They also offer a traditional pork stock ramen, but I prefer the regular soup stock. The decor has improved and there is a sushi bar next door. You can enter from either side, as there is a connecting doorway. They also have a selection of premium sake, including hakaisan and otomoyama. Personally, I prefer hakaisan, although it is on the pricier side. Kabuki in Burbank and Woodland Hills also serve these brands.
