Bidra med feedbackI initially planned to order the turkey BLAT without bacon. However, the woman behind the counter informed me that all their sandwiches come with bacon since they are premade. A bit disappointing, but not a big deal. Instead, I opted for a mango chicken bowl, which was hot and quite tasty, although the chicken was a little dry. There is a seating area where I was fortunate to find a table, and it was much quieter compared to the bar/restaurant across the hall. The prices are typical for airport dining, even for the premade sandwiches, which isn't really surprising. All things considered, this is a decent spot in the small Terminal 5.
I saw a sandwich combo that included a side, so I ordered it with mac and cheese, only to be told that the combo couldn't include half of the side options (not even for an extra charge). I could only choose from the cold sides at the beginning of the counter. I admit that I should have known better since I'm familiar with Lemonade and recognized that deal sounded too good to be true. But what about someone trying it for the first time? Is putting up a clear disclaimer too much to ask? At the very least, a sign or label would have been beneficial, and considering my sandwich was $16, I can't imagine they can't afford that. The local Lemonade locations offer much better, more substantial sandwiches for a lower price. I usually order the Turkey Tijuana sandwich, but unfortunately, the airport location had a limited menu. I separately paid for the mac and cheese, which was admittedly as good as at other locations. But the $16 sandwich? It was outrageous. It resembled a glorified Oscar Mayer sandwich, poorly assembled (no offense to Mr. Mayer). The quality was akin to a sandwich you might throw together at home in 1997 with $1 deli meat, Wonder Bread, and Hellman’s mayonnaise. For SIXTEEN dollars, I could have settled for a newspaper stand sandwich or just gone without food altogether, which would have saved me the time—and the regret of feeling so robbed. And then there were the little things. I was juggling luggage when the cashier slid two cartons across the counter after I paid. With no hands free, I asked if they could bag my order, and she simply replied, “Oh, the bags are right there.” By "there," she meant directly in front of her. Instead of bagging my purchase, employees are expected to have customers, who are clearly traveling, drop all their bags just to bag their own overpriced sandwiches. The bag didn’t even fit! I know it may seem trivial, but it’s the principle. You’re charging me nearly $20 for a poorly assembled sandwich and can’t even take the time to bag it for me? Is that too much to ask for someone who just navigated the chaos of the terminal? Overall, I recommend anyone in Terminal 5 to do yourself a favor and grab a pastry or something from one of the smaller vendors instead—or however many danishes it takes to hold you over until you reach your destination.
I hadn't visited Lemonade in a while, and after arriving in LA, I was really hungry. I decided to stop in for a bite to eat. I ordered the chicken breast salad along with a refreshing iced lemonade. The food was decent, but the chicken was a bit dry, so it’s best to mix it with plenty of sauces. The staff was friendly, and since there weren't many people there, I didn't have to wait long for my food. There was also plenty of seating available.
The food is yummy. It always hits the spot when the stomach is running empty. This particular day was an interesting one because I had to pay with a physical paycheck.... (It's been a minute) and the lovely lady in the counter helped me through It. Open seating and fast delivery. If you are in LAX, this location has you covered.
Very crowded. I just wanted to buy a juice from the front. I had to go to the cashier through the whole line. Thank you, what else I can do while waiting for the boarding! Ambiance? Lol, you can't hear your thoughts, since tables are 10 inches close
