Manila District La - Los Angeles

Go for the community and the vendors they bring! As of 10/15/2022, the food vendors were worth the tastes and the various merchants available included various leather goods, clothing, candles as well as the plant life sold in Flyplant. Looking forward to the next one ?

I discovered this place only after a friend recommended it to me. It's a small market with multiple Filipino vendors. I decided to try Lolo's BBQ and unfortunately missed out on the ube sweets from another vendor. The seating is limited, but the service is quick. Finding parking along 7th street was not too difficult, but public transportation options are limited. Overall, it was a worthwhile visit and a great way to explore the Arts District.

Really great event located in the Manila District parking lot! I went over the weekend to the FilLed (Filpinx Led) Market and loved everything there. it's not a huge market but it was the perfect size in my eyes. Iced coffee at Tim's Thai Tea, a bunch of vendors selling items, liempo pork belly from Lolo's, the Ube Pie (a MUST get) a Ube sticky bun from Baking with Ish...everything was so darn awesome. And the DJ pumping 2000s hip hop!? I was down with it and had a hard time resisting singing rapping along. The only critique is they needed a bit more seating. People were vulturing seats and I saw a lot of people (including me my friend) take their food to their car to eat. Parking can be hard to find but we found a lot just a block away for $5.

This place is a must-visit. All of the food and desserts are mouthwatering! The Taste of the Pacific dish is especially outstanding. Although it's small now, with the right support, this restaurant can definitely expand and thrive.

The outdoor food market is a hidden gem with various Filipino vendors offering delicious barbecue, pastries, drinks, and desserts. There is even a vendor selling house plants. There is something for everyone, although more seating would be appreciated. Overall, it is a fantastic weekend activity. Parking may be difficult, but there are paid lots nearby.
