Bidra med feedbackGreat food and atmosphere! Be warned: they close at 7:45 on most weekdays days… before half of Los Angeles eats dinner. I don’t understand what management is thinking but that’s less money for them I guess. I’d dine there much more often but typically eat dinner at the “extremely late” hour of 8 o’clock (I hope you can read my sarcasm, Paco’s management).
Super friendly service of several people. I had a Carne Asada Burrito wet with Enchilada sauce and it was amazing. At some point, I have a robbery in LA, I'm going to Pacos!
Right before waiting 15 minutes for a table, I asked the host if they had any available tables inside, to which he rudely responded indoor dinning is all we have and continued rephrasing everything i asked as if we weren't both speaking English..being that it was a Saturday night my boyfriend and I figured it was worth the wait. I ordered the plate with the chicken enchilada and beef tamale with the side of refried beans and rice. The rice was not authentic Spanish rice, the tamale was a mess from the dry and salty masa to the dry, rubbery meat. The enchilada tortilla did not taste handmade and the chicken was cut into squares, once again a mess because it's suppose to be shredded. To drink i had an horchata which honestly was the best item, good flavor, but also $3.50 a cup, average size cup mind you, AND NO REFILL. They give you a large basket of corn tortilla chips when you first get seated, guess it's because the actual meal is far from satisfying.
Paco's Tacos has great food with a moderately priced. I had Enchiladas with refried beans and the best Spanish Rice I have ever had. I will be going back very soon. I do advise to Park on the backside away from Manchester Avenue.
For authentic Mexican food PACO?S is the place. The food is amazing, handmade tortillas, friendly staff and great for date night or a large gathering.
