Bidra med feedbackIt?s a nice restaurant/bar snuggled in LACMA perfect to get something to eat and unwind after exploring through all the exhibitions at LACMA. I highly recommend making a reservation, especially on Fridays during LACMA?s Jazz Nights. The service can be a little slow at times, but the waiters are all friendly. We started off with a cocktail and glass of wine. Cocktail was okay but I preferred the Prosecco over the Champagne. We also got the olives, Margherita Pizza, RoastedChicken, and the Croissant Bread Pudding. They were all so good. The olives weren?t too salty and so so good with a hint of rosemary. The Margherita Pizza was really good and crust was amazing too. The Roasted Chicken and asparagus werereally good. Im not a huge fan of goat cheese, but thankfully the goat cheese polenta wasn?t too pungent. The Croissant Bread Pudding was yummy. I also love how when I asked for crushed peppers and Parmesan cheese, the cheese wasn?t thefake stuff, but actually freshly shredded cheese. The yummy food and the live jazz was the perfect way to end the night!
It?s perfectly located at LACMA and great outdoor dining experience to be surrounded by palm trees, fresh air and amazing views of the museum. Food is amazing, so delicious and beautifully prepared. A must visit for drinks and a very nice meal when you?re at LACMA.
Pretty sure I got food poisoning from the watermelon and tomato salad. After a long day decided to stop by for lunch for expensive overpriced food. Wait staff was slow and took their sweet time to come by. This repeated after the meal was done. Well they served the watermelon and tomato salad, I was feeling like I wanted some seasonal food. Everything looked appropriate. Smelled good and tasted as it should. There was a cheese at the bottom. Also a oil and vinaigrette so itkind of masked the tastes of the fruit and tomatoes. Something was tainted as my stomach was terrible after eating immediately. Probably couldn?t sell the fruits or tomatoes and gave me a spoiled dish. It?s either that or the cheese. Itwas a little slimy. Now that I think of it, I feel dumb but the oil and vinaigrette masked the foods. Would not recommend. Like others have said, tourist trap. Terrible service, and literally bad food. Bill came out to $40 for a kidspizza and the salad.
Had reservation for 3 11am. When we arrived, we were told they wouldn't be opening for a little while. Decided to have a drink at the Stark Bar. They were fine and since no one was in the restaurant, we realized reservations were not needed. We decided to go and get a table around 11:45 am. Only one other table was occupied. We sat down and were given the menu and offered beverages. Once the beverages came we placed our order. 2 ordered the Eggs Benedict plate and the other had the standard breakfast. Again only one other table was seated. Our server was nice and polite but didn't mention anything about the kitchen not being functional. 45 minutes later our food arrived. It was tasty and again the servers was nice but no mention on why breakfast food would take 45 minutes with only a handful of tables occupied.
Outdoor seating only in an area next to construction for a gala the next day. lots of foot traffic through the eating area, including workers wheeling trash cans. The chairs were placed on carpet covered with soft plastic which made it very difficult to slide the chairs back and forth. Maybe environment will be better when the museum construction is completed.
