Salata - Los Angeles

I enjoyed the salad, but it wasn't mind-blowing. All the ingredients were fresh, and there was a great selection of different lettuces, vegetables, fruits, cheeses, meats, seeds, and dressings to choose from as I directed the attendant. They assemble your salad at the counter while you point out what you want. Once you're finished, they toss the salad for you. I ordered a large, but I probably should have gone for a medium because I only managed to eat half. Unfortunately, the dining area was closed at the time, and the soda fountain was out of order.

The portions are generous, and the salad is absolutely delicious! I really appreciate the combination of flavors. I didn't encounter any rude staff, but I was surprised that a simple scoop of added quinoa cost $3.50. Overall, though, it's one of the best salads I've ever had!

Cool little Salata restaurant, and Alameda a great refuge from the summer heat. Park street is like a step back in time with a cool bay breeze. Even if this wasn't such a great restaurant the location of it alone would make this a desirable destination.

Food was super flavorful. The staff was very welcoming and observant. It has a nice interior. I see why this place has so many good reviews.

Salata is an excellent spot for a wholesome meal. Their cream of broccoli soup is, without a doubt, the best I've ever tasted. It’s the perfect dish to warm you up on a chilly day.
