Tea Maru Housemade Boba - Los Angeles

I waited 50 minutes and only received 5 boba drinks. They said they were out of regular boba so they gave me mango boba instead, but it was not prepared well. It doesn't taste like my favorite maruboba and I am disappointed. I would like a refund for my money.

The staff at this restaurant needs to improve in creating the drinks requested by customers. The drinks are good, but only when ordered as they are made standard. They offer the option to customize by removing boba or adding jelly, but they never follow through with these requests. I'm unsure if the drinks are pre-made or if they simply don't care about what the customer wants, but regardless, I will not be ordering from here again. This is the fourth time they have failed to fulfill my requests.

The service was excellent, the girl who worked there was amazing. However, the boba was disappointingly hard and not cooked enough, resembling my failed attempts at making boba.

This place usually rocks! but today I was very disappointed on the first day. the coworker didn't know any of the tees we had asked that the boba was soggy that everyone was stuck together. it wouldn't get through that.

Easy to order online for pick up. If you're arriving later, just make a note and they will honor the pick up time. Pick up was easy as they have a table for your bags. Definitely something different in terms of cake. How much you like it will depend on each individual. We tried the milk tea crepe cake and Nutellamisu Japanese pancakes. Crepe cake tasted just like milk tea! The mousse was a sweet and salty flavor for the pancakes but went well together. Good flavor on both and the bobas are able to be warmed up and added on the side. A nice light dessert!
