Bidra med feedbackA vegetarian restaurant that characterizes gluten-free products but refuses labelling for vegans. When I asked what is vegan on the menu, the staff said some elements that we can take out the cheese and some we cannot. So... what is vegan on the menu?! There were only two articles that the staff could point to as already vegan and wanted me to make an order for other articles before they told me if it could even be made vegan. More about supporting your gluten-free customers than your vegans? Okay, no vegan business. Updated by previous review on 2019-05-01
While the regular café menu does not add too many vegan options (although they vegan cheese recently, which is great) the hot bar in the marketplace is amazing. They have a rotating selection of foods and most of them are vegan. The servers were always very knowledgeable what is vegan and what is not. You get the food, they load the tray and you pay by weight. The avocado toast is a “a la carte” charge, but it is quite amazing. Food is fresh many options vegetables, lenses, quinoa, tofu, etc.
See on their menu online that they use cheese. Wanted to ask if the cheese used animal rennet. The guy wasn't sure he had to ask. The answer was most of their cheeses have Tierrennet. I am vegetarian and do not eat in places that use meat products. It is a good Habbit to call first and ask, many restaurants call themselves vegetarian, but have no idea what it means they use animal rennet cheese and some even chicken broth for their soups. Wanted to set 1 star, but guess happy cow tries to keep all happy, it automatically set 2 stars.
Large vegetarian restaurant that is approved by carnivores!
Wait they personal was charming and friendly, but a bit forgotten, we had to remind them at 2 places that they had not brought us a few items we had ordered. but apart from that, we enjoyed our brunch at zinc.
