Absolutely mouth watering, yummy home cooked food! We love all their dishes and order as often as we can!

Love this place! We get fish dinners almost every weekend! Food is always good and sometimes they have a lemon cake for dessert. Bomb! Wish they were open during the week.

I like the food but I wish that the jerk pork and chicken were grilled. I've had authentic Jamaican food, and the jerk meats were always grilled. Also there should be an option to get white meat with your curry and/or your jerk meats. The meat that I see in the pictures on the website are not the meat I get when I order.

We had high hopes coming here on a Saturday afternoon. The place was relatively empty except for maybe three or four tables with customers but that was about it. We ordered a simple meal (wings, j chicken, potatoes, Mac and cheese, house salad, and collard greens) to go but sat for almost an hour waiting for it. While we waited we overheard the hostess telling a phoned in order that their order would not be ready for an hour. I'm not sure what the problem was in the kitchen. It seemed like there was only one chef to attend to everything and everyone. The hostess and chef were pleasant and came to us several times to apologize for the delay. Finally our food arrived and we left. It was actually quite good and filling. The hostess gave us a complimentary dessert for the inconvenience and was very apologetic. I would have given this place a higher rating had the food come out more expeditiously.

The best option in Louisa. Go here! You won't regret it. J Pork and Yaks were outstanding.
