Despite the wait, both the hostess and the chef were friendly and stopped by several times to apologize for the delay. When our food finally arrived, we took it home and were pleased to find it was quite delicious and filling. As a gesture of goodwill for the inconvenience, the hostess also gave us a complimentary dessert, which was thoughtful. I would have rated this place higher had our food been served more promptly.

The best choice in Louisa. You should definitely go here! You won't be disappointed. The jerk pork and yaks were exceptional.

From the jerk pork to the curry chicken, I was thoroughly impressed with everything I tried. The waitress was just the right fit, and the elderly lady in the kitchen brought an exceptional warmth to the experience, both for my daughter and me. This restaurant outshines the overrated Pearl Island in Charlottesville. Kudos to Louisa for delivering! It's a lovely restaurant in a great part of town. I really enjoyed the fried whiting, macaroni and cheese, and especially the collard greens. The service was excellent!
