You can 't beat the atmosphere or the service at Boomer 's. A cozy and relaxed environment where you are treated like family. A basic menu done well. I love the grilled cheese, chicken salad sandwich, tuna salad sandwich, as well as the tomato soup. Good conversation, reasonable prices (especially for downtown), and a satisfying lunch. For dessert, you are always given a 'Boomer 's Treat ' (a York peppermint), but there are also delicious chocolate chip cookies available if you so choose.<br/ <br/ NOTE: CASH ONLY.
Scrappingal. Good food, great atmosphere and service. Feels like you are at home. I eat here every day for lunch!
Some friends and I went there for lunch recently. The food was delish and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff were wonderful too. Such a nice break during a busy work day. Will definitely be making a return visit soon.
