Bidra med feedbackGreat spot! It's been around since the 90s and I've heard many positive things about it. Our server, Meg, was incredibly sweet and attentive. The atmosphere was lively and enjoyable, and the restaurant is bigger than I expected. The food was delicious, with reasonable prices and affordable draft beer. It's conveniently located on a corner, making it easy to find. We will definitely be back!
We discovered this charming little place on our way to the airport and wish we had found it on the first day of our vacation. We certainly would have added 10 pounds from their delicious pastrami and rye!
I ordered takeout and was surprised to see an 18% gratuity added when I went to pick it up. They claimed they inform customers about this, but they didn't. This is completely unreasonable. Having worked in restaurants for a long time, I've never encountered this outside of the COVID pandemic. Additionally, I discovered that a full short rib dinner costs $23, while three small sliders with a bit of short rib are priced at $18. What a joke! I'll decide how much gratuity to leave, not them. I won’t be returning.
Not giving two stars because the atmosphere was clean and the food quality was decent. However, I went in with my family for brunch and there was a dark hair in one of our dishes. When the manager came over to us, he said most of my chefs have blonde hair , when we can clearly see the chefs behind the glass and one had very dark hair, as did our waitress. We felt that he was implying that we had planted the hair ourselves. But he was kind enough to comp that one dish, or offer alternatives. Unfortunately will not return. My family went there over 13 years ago and so we were just severely underwhelmed.
Pork chop was incredible! Blk chicken Alfredo was great as well!
