Open Caribbean Kitchen - Louisville

Absolutely incredible! I love Caribbean food and Open Caribbean Kitchen is one of the best if not thee best that I have ever had in Louisville. Highly recommend the Oxtail meal. Jackie did a great job of discussing the sauces with me and I loved every recommendation she provided. Extremely helpful and made me feel very welcome!

The lady was nice and answered all they questions my round and I had. The food portion was great. Definitely will be back to try other items on the menu.

Came across this spot while heading to the airport. Food was amazing and made with love. Definitely the best Jerk Chicken Tacos I’ve ever had. The wings were also some of the best I’ve ever had (close tie with Chubby’s Jamaican Kitchen in Toronto). I’m excited to go back and try the Jerk Spaghetti when I’m back in Louisville.

I am not from Lousiville, but wanted some Caribbean food. Got on Google and saw this place! Well worth it! Food was on point. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable about their product. Testing out a new chicken patty. Go for it!! It’s full of flavor. Would definitely go again and would recommend. Job well-done!

I have been wanting to try this place for over a year but I don 't live in close proximity. Made plans to be in the area to visit another establishelment and remembered this place was going to be nearby. I am so glad I finally made it in. The menu online looks yummy. I was in the mood for Oxtails but when I saw the Jerk Chicken Spaghetti online it was speaking to me. I tried it and was not disappointed! I gave it FIVE well deserved stars. I 'll admit, it is a TAD bit spicy for ME, but that is just my opinion. Keep in mind this is coming from a person that doesn 't generally eat spicy food anyway. So, if you like spicy this is right up your alley. However, I would definitely order again. Since this visit, I 've already made my way back again and had the Rasta Pasta. Both dishes are heavenly and come drizzled with a house-made OHH YEEAHH sauce!! You 've got to get you some of that!They offer dine-in, carry out, and use several delivery platforms in case you don 't want to leave the house.Customer service was great. The woman that took my order was engaging and took time to explain any questions I had about the menu. I highly recommend this place. ??
