The Capital Grille Louisville

We had a wonderful dinner to celebrate both my husband's and my birthdays. The restaurant went above and beyond by preparing a birthday card and confetti on our table in advance, along with a special dessert to mark the occasion. It was such a thoughtful touch! The food was outstanding, and even our takeout items included a sweet note from the chef. The service was truly exceptional!

The atmosphere and service were outstanding. While the filet was not particularly remarkable, the sea bass, lobster bisque, French onion soup, crème brûlée, and cheesecake were absolutely phenomenal!

I made a 6:15 PM dinner reservation for a birthday celebration. We were seated at the bar and were told it would be just a five-minute wait, but we ended up waiting 35 minutes instead. The service was incredibly slow, and it seemed like they might have been understaffed. To make matters worse, the bartender was quite rude. I've been to this restaurant half a dozen times, and it seems to get worse with each visit. I'm not sure why I keep coming back, but it's clear something needs to change. Come on, CG, step it up!

Great experience!!..Good food and excellent service in a beautiful place.

Delicious food and service was amazing. Our only issue is 4 of us were placed at a round 1/2 booth table that would easily have fit more people. We were far from each other so it was hard to hear. It is not quiet in this wonderful place. Fantastic for a special occasion.
