Rockpile Grill At The Cape May Lewes Ferry

We live up the road from the ferry and want to support Exit Zero to succeed but the service was so atrocious tonight (Friday) that I question whether we will ever go back. Upon arrival, we were ignored at the hostess stand by the servers and bartender for at least 10 minutes. Finally, one server said she would be right with us and promptly disappeared for another several minutes. When we were finally seated, we got no attention whatsoever for another 10 minutes and just left. Hey, I know everyone is short handed but that is no excuse for no acknowledgement, no apology or no communications from the wait staff. Management needs to improve their training and the staff need to communicate with their customers!

We enjoyed the curry disco fries and the salad with salmon, both of which were outstanding! We sat outside by the dock, and we were fortunate to have beautiful weather while watching the ferry depart.

Good burgers and hot chicken sandwich, yum!? Also enjoyed listening to Tribe playing some classic tunes. Awesome evening!

Exit zero's food is so good! Great service and such a hidden gem, so far, barely a wait even on a weekend night. It's nice to see the ferry come in, and we've heard good live music on many of our visits!

The atmosphere is excellent—one of the best in Cape May! It's enjoyable to watch the boats passing by the Ferry Terminal. The food and bar are managed by Exit Zero Co., and, as expected, everything was superb. I had the Tan Limes, Buffalo Cauliflower, The Chopper with Salmon, and Coconut Shrimp—true favorites from Exit Zero. Both the food and service were fantastic.
