La Sirena - Lubbock

I love this place… the vibe, the service, the patio, watermelon jalapeño margarita, empanadas, brussel sprouts, just go! It’s good!

Oh, WOW! The food has gotten SO GOOD!!!! Our brie with pinon nuts, broccoli soup, and black cod were unique and out of this world! It's my favorite restaurant in Lubbock!!!!! Thank you all!!!!

I’d like to start that we had a reservation set up for the Funky Door after my daughter’s graduation Friday. After reading reviews we decided not to go there and wondered if La Sirena would take us. I called at 3pm and they figured something out and accepted us. The family loved it. The steak was big enough for my wife/daughter and Niece/friend to share and be full. My mother-in-law had the pan fried cod, my sister-in-law had the steak salad, and I had the lamb porterhouse. We also had Brussel sprouts queso fundido which were great, and I wish I could roast my sprouts like that. It was a great meal to celebrate her masters graduation. Thank you.

This is perhaps one of the most unique restaurants in Lubbock. Tucked away in Cactus Alley, it feels like an escape from ordinary.The food is delicious, the drinks are excellent and the ambiance is its own.

The service was superlative and the empanadas were out of this world. Our entrees however, were not. The chicken was undercooked and the duck confit was overcooked and smothered in a preserved figs, TOO MUCH.
