We arrived with a group of 23 people and we had made arrangements ahead of time but when we got there they were BUSY! In spite of a full house we had excellent and friendly service. The food was great with generous portions. And then there was the ice cream! WOW,! Great stuff. Delicious ice, tons of aromas to choose. The Michigan Pot Hole is our favorite! We dived and our waitress was super friendly and prompt, although it was pretty busy. Host was also very nice. Food menu servings at other tables were great size for the cost. Would stop here again!

My sister and I had supper here during our overnight stay in Ludington. We were immediately seated and greeted by our waitress, who was friendly and attentive. Our order: Monte Waffle Cristo, hot turkey sandwich with bacon/cheese/lettuce/tomato/mayo chips, and we shared a potato topper cheese/bacon/sour cream over french fries. Food arrived in ten minutes, was hot, full of flavor, and filling. We ended up leaving with two shakes to go (Raspberry Rendezvous and Cookies and Cream in place of Tennessee Toffee which was sold out) these were great as well. Highly recommend!

They definitely have their ice cream down pat... it's delicious! (even though they don't have coffee flavor my fave The menu is pretty big, the food is kind of average, portions are large. The chef salad, however, was better than most and I'd have it again. The draw here is definitely the ice cream with its huge selection of flavors and the long history of the place.
