Bidra med feedbackI received a gift card about the holiday and decided it would be a good time to use it. We arrived at 6:45 and sat in the bar area. The bartender was friendly and attentive. We ordered an appetizer to share with some warm bread. The ducks came and were pretty good. This was our second time in La Tavola and will definitely return.
Really great Italian food and great staff. We came on a Saturday without reservations and the owner managed to squeeze us in even though they were fully booked. Really appreciated the service and food.
I am going to two stars because the service was very good and the people are nice but it ends there. The tomato and fresh Mozzarella was served with hard as a rock non ripe tomatoes. The pricey Lasagna was made with a tomato sauce that tasted like doctored canned sauce, possibly the worst Lasagna I've had in I can't remember and priced close to $20.00. I can only think the folks giving this place 5 stars have never actually had good Italian food. I would never, ever go back. Wish we'd gone for Tacos in town I hear they are good.
Very nice dinner for a Friday evening just arriving in town for a ski weekend. Great service! Friendly, warm and welcoming. Hugh portions I have lunch for tomorrow. The atmosphere is very nice. We have dined here with all the former owners and this is the best. Don?t skip dessert. I very nice Italian dinner. Don?t miss out.
There aren?t enough stars to rate this restaurant! The service was top notch, the surroundings are comfortable and elegant but not snooty, and the food was nothing short of amazing. My son ordered the Crab Cake (special). The presentation was nice, topped with a bit of lobster. The cake itself rivaled the best we?ve had; lots of crab, a little cake, and sautéed to perfection. We each had a House Salad; fresh and tasty with a good assortment of vegetables. For our entrees we had the Lobster Ravioli (special), Chicken Francese, and Penne a la Vodka with chicken. The Francese melted in my mouth! The sauce was perfection and the cutlets were thin sliced and tender. My son completely devoured his Penne dish. My husband enjoyed the Ravioli, which came topped with shrimp. The meal was tasty but the fact the lobster was puréed instead of torn took away from the experience. For dessert we had their ?new? chocolate cake, yum! And my husband had the Key Lime Creme Brûlée, which he enjoyed. I would go back weekly, if I could, and would recommend this restaurant to everyone.
