Bidra med feedbackOne does not usually find sophisticated dining experiences in an eatery located in a museum, but such is not the case with Restaurant Nord in the Europäisches Hansemuseum. We were there on a Sunday early afternoon excursion attending a delightful concert in the museum. The food was outstanding and the wait staff quite friendly, although service was unusually slow, probably because the place was filled to capacity. The interesting menu has many choices, including gluten free. Whether you are visiting the museum or not, this elegantly modern restaurant is highly recommended!
Although we didn't like the museum one bit, Nord is worth a visit for lunch! The price of the lunch menu is very decent and one can combine many different dishes. The food was excellent and very nicely presented. We very much enjoyed our lunch here!
This is the cafe by the museum. We went inside, not realizing it is table service. We sat down, menu was only in German but I saw several people having delicious looking cakes. Coffee was very good and hot. Definitely would go back and have cake next time.
Fantastiskt museum and arcitecture but sorry to say the soup was full of fatty piecec and the rabbit stue hade pieces of bones within and the bread was steale, but the white wine was were god. Must say that we were a bit disappointed.
This is the main restaurant of the Hanse Museum. The dinning room is wide, open, furnished with extraordinary taste and great confort, and, predictably, an elegant and very enjoyable Baltic outlook, aesthetic and atmosphere. The place is very confortable, clean, and toddler-friendly.The staff has been wonderfully nice, kind and efficient, even in the midst of a heated lunch rush. Very classy!!The food matched the rest: mackerel with aspargus, Omas Frikadelle, both tasty, masterfully prepared, nicely served. The wine we had by the glass was perfectly chosen by Nord: great German wine, from proper, decent wineries!!This is simply a great place. NB: The associate café in the Museum, "Fraulein Brömse" is also an absolute must, with some of the nicest cakes eaten in Germany.
