Agora - Lugano

We went to Agorà for a dinner with family and friends, and we really liked it although it did not come cheap. The place is relatively new, not far from the city and easily reachable either by bus or by walk, it is close to the university and there is some free parking (which is anyway hard to get as spots are limited). We had a fish-based dinner, with a mixed appetizer which was very good, then we had some cold mussels with a tomato sauce (good but hot would have been tastier for me), and then pasta with homarus lobster. The meat of the lobster was not the softest, but tasted good nonetheless, what disappointed me was the pasta, which should have been fresh, or in my opinion you just waste the lobster. With some wine, water and coffees the bill came at around 60 chf per person. Good value for the quality, but fresh pasta would have increased the rating. Overall a great place to grab a bite, and the blonde waitress was very good at her job and attentive.

Welcoming and kind staff, quality food served in an impeccable manner.. I'm sorry to have read negative reviews from Mrs Monika who evidently wasn't herself that morning at the opening (I was present at the situation) Prices more than honest and adequate for the service and quality of the food. We often go for breakfast and great aperitifs!! Super recommended! Mrs. Rosa is a perfect hostess!

Lovely restaurant/caffé. It's located in front of the hotel. Food is well prepared, staff is extremely kind and the atmosphere is cozy. Perfect for breakfast, lunch or apero.

House aperitif: you drink one and you 're drunk, two you laugh, three you 're in a coma ...

Restaurant with affordable prices and very good quality food. Every day it also offers a couple of fixed price menus, the staff is very friendly, I recommend it
