Auberge Lugano

It was a great experience and excellent cuisine! We loved the food , especially the tasting menu! And the wine recommendation was top! Thanks a lot!

On a day trip to Lugano, found this restaurant in Lugano on Corso Enrico Pestologgi, not too far from the lake front. Was not too busy as we arrived just before lunch was beginning to be served. Interesting menu and it changes almost weekly depending on seasonal offerings. Has outdoor seating which is very pleasant apart from the odd insects flying about in early Autumn. Service was quite efficient and friendly with the staff happy to explain the menu options. Food was very good and appreciated that serving sizes were not too large. Would recommend and return next time we are in Lugano.

Location: very comfortable inside. It's nice on the outside, but the proximity to the road makes it quite noisy. Service: really very satisfied, professional service and although there were only two waiters I never had the impression of being left out. Cuisine: we tried the tasting menu. Nice presentation of the dishes, without exaggerating. Nice mix between Ticino and Southern Italian tastes. Everything really delicious! Wines: wine list a little sparse. They don't have much and few particular vintages, certainly a point on which we can improve. Conclusion: Truly a great discovery for Lugano, I highly recommend a visit with a seat inside the restaurant and trying the tasting menu with wines by the glass.

Top service! Nice atmosphere, high quality food, unfortunately little choice smaller portions but with a lot of enjoyment!
