Pier 41 Seafood - Lumberton

I visited this restaurant on 1/23/21 and my experience was horrible. I went inside the establishment to place an order. I was told by the manager that I had to go outside around back to place my order from my car. It was nighttime but there were several other cars around there. The waitress who took my order was pleasant but after taking the order I had to wait 40 minutes for them to bring it out. By the way I ordered a Deluxe Broiled seafood platter, the cost was 18.50 plus tax, when I received my plate the food was all mixed together, it looked like a pile of slop with Sweet potato fries on top, which I ordered a baked potato. I sent the plate back and the second time the manager brought it back out and proceeded to explain how broiled seafood was prepared. I wasn't interested in the process at this point I just wanted my order to be prepared correctly. I told the manager I ordered a baked potato. He said sure I will get it for you only to return any say we are out of baked potatoes. It will be an additional 16 minutes before they were ready. By this time I had spent over an hour to get one plate of broiled seafood. A good manager should have offered a complimentary meal instead of just saying we don't have it. IF I EVER decide to visit the establishment again I will just ask for my money back if my order is not correct the first time.

The seafood was delicious and perfectly fried, with no grease. The portions were generous. I ordered the deluxe seafood platter and was amazed at the size of the shrimp, scallops, and oysters! This was my first visit, but it definitely won’t be my last. I treated my husband for Father's Day, and he was incredibly pleased!

My first visit to Pier 41 was on July 11th, and I was really impressed. The restaurant is exceptionally clean, particularly the women's restrooms. I ordered the broiled salmon along with a large salad, and both were delicious! I will definitely be back.

We visited last Sunday at 11:00 AM, and I ordered the house special of shrimp and baked potato. The shrimp was warm throughout the meal, but the hush puppies weren’t warm at all. Overall, I felt like my entire meal was a waste of money.

I heard it was worth the drive, so my wife and I decided to give it a shot. We can confirm that it was definitely worth the trip and the short wait to be seated. By the time I finished my meal, my plate was so spotless that it hardly needed washing, haha. I highly recommend that everyone give this place a try!
