The Tree - Lumberton

Fantastic restaurant with outstanding food! The owner, Martin Riley, is a true barbecue master, and our ribeye steaks were cooked to perfection. I loved the way they were grilled over smoky coals. The green beans were flavorful and had a nice crunch—definitely not overcooked. The fried green tomato appetizer was expertly prepared and absolutely delicious! I highly recommend this place for excellent food and great service.

I discovered this restaurant the day before I left town for work two weeks ago, and I can't stop thinking about how much I want to return! The steaks are hand-cut and grilled over an open fire pit—absolutely delicious! The chicken steak was massive! The bread was perfectly tasty as well. The owners and staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. This place is a must-visit!

Very good food! Good service! The owner was so nice and our waitress was really sweet! The food is definitely a 15/10!! WAYY BETTER THAN CHILLIS!!! We will be back!!

We visited The Tree last Thursday, and if you’re in search of a delicious steak, this is the place to be! It never lets us down. We've dined here multiple times, and each visit has been fantastic! The owner is incredibly friendly and goes above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. The food is of excellent quality. While the steaks are outstanding, everything on the menu is really good. I also had a margarita, and it was perfectly crafted. I have nothing but positive remarks about this restaurant, and we will definitely return!

That was my first time here. We had six adults and two children in our group. The seat was a little tight, but no problem. We ordered three appetizers and they were all very good, especially mushrooms! I had the fried catfish covered with cancer. It was excellent!! I also had some old fashion drinks. They were good, but seemed small. We finished the strawberry cake that was good. Our waiter was attentive and very friendly! The only negative was live music. It was good, but waayy too loud for such a small place. We could barely talk. I'd definitely come back here.
