New Orleans By Myra - Lusby

Stumbled upon this food truck at a festival and the Oyster Po Boy was really good. Three weeks later hubby and I were in Solomons Island looking for food and discovered New Orleans by Myra had a restaurant nearby. Pulled in and ordered a Shrimp Po Boy for me and Oyster Po Boy with fries for hubby. To our delight, both were delicious! The wait was a little long because only one cook was onsite but totally worth it. Going camping in Solomons this summer and Myra’s is on the menu for dinner every night!

This place may be a small hole in the wall, but sometimes those are the best! The portions were huge, and I ordered the crawfish po'boy, which was excellent! It's definitely worth a stop on the way back from the beach.

The catfish was delicious and seasoned to perfection. The hush puppies were spot on. I highly recommend pairing every dish with the remoulade. The owners are incredibly friendly and attentive to all customers. I can't wait to return, and I'm looking forward to trying the beignets when they are added to the menu!

This restaurant is a fantastic spot for a meal. The food is both authentic and outstanding, all at a very reasonable price. The staff creates a warm atmosphere that makes you feel like you've visited a friend's house for Sunday dinner. I highly recommend this place to anyone nearby, and I always take my family here when they visit. Thank you for the wonderful service and delicious food!

Well I've been looking for a place that sells authentic New Orleans food for a while after visiting Nola. I think I found it...lol! I was in food heaven yesterday. The food was amazing!!! When I'm down in this area again I'll definitely be going back to their restaurant. It would be nice if they got a food truck and traveled up to DC. They would be really successful!!!
