I love the excitement of trying a new restaurant, but unfortunately, my experience didn't live up to expectations. Our waitress was delightful and very attentive, which was a plus. However, the food was truly disappointing. I ordered the sampler meal, which included spaghetti with a single meatball, lasagna, and ravioli. They didn't have ravioli, so they substituted it with tortellini, which I could accept. But the lasagna was inedible and clearly frozen, tasting like a cheap frozen dinner—think school cafeteria food. The meatball appeared to be from a discount membership store, like Sam's or Costco, and the sauce tasted like it came straight from a giant 96-ounce can; it was bland and lacked any seasoning. Our waitress seemed embarrassed and genuinely concerned about my meal. I ended up barely touching my food, aside from the single meatball, which was only two bites. I tried to voice my concerns discreetly without making a scene. When my waitress returned with a modest discount, I appreciated the gesture but explained that I really wanted to speak with the new owners, who were nowhere to be found. Unfortunately, this was honestly one of the worst dinners I’ve ever had.
