Yard House - Lynnfield

This place is extremely popular among all age groups. When we visited on Friday night, it was nearly full, but we were lucky enough to secure seats. The ambiance is fantastic, with dim lighting and a sports screen atmosphere. We ordered a few drinks and appetizers. The blue martini was delicious, but the other drink didn't taste great. When we provided feedback, they promptly removed it from the bill. The spicy edamame was excellent. For dinner, we chose the veg burger and Thai pork chop, both of which were tasty. The sides included sweet potato fries drizzled with maple syrup, a unique combination that surprised us. The service was exceptional. Our server listened to our concerns, answered all our questions, and helped us decide what to order. This place is definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

This trendy restaurant is popular with millennials and gen z. It may not be the best choice for older generations. The music and TVs are very loud, so be prepared to communicate mainly through your phone.

We ordered the Nashville fried chicken sandwich. Unfortunately, the bun was a bit stale and dry. Despite requesting extra "garlic aioli" (which turned out to be just some Mayo mixed with random spices), we never received it. However, the atmosphere of the restaurant was top-notch! We really enjoyed the convenience of the iPad for ordering drinks and splitting the check by items ordered. Unfortunately, our iPad died, and it took 15 minutes for our group of 5 to divide up the check based on what we had ordered.

Variable food quality. Adequate for the price. Large selection of beers.

The waitress was wonderful but different servers served the drinks which had many issues. I always ask for my rocks on the side for martinis. The rocks came after the drink. This happened after the first round of drinks. Service was slow and the restaurant wasn't busy. The short ribs were not short ribs. I cook them often. It was a flank steak I believe and didn't fall apart. No evidence of a bone in the dish. I did mention to my friend that a short ribs dish won't be my first choice at Yardhouse. My tacos were fine. The appetizers were okay. I will return for drinks and appetizers.
