I've been living in Lyon for years and this is the first time I went to Carpe Diem's restaurant. How could I pass next to this institution, located in the 6th arrondissement??? In short, the 95-year-old chef and his son, take care of you to the small onions with their bourgeois cuisine and Lyon canaille: calf liver, yellow wine rhyme on order, foie gras, andouillette, a short but much better map. For my part, I chose the head of veal gribiche sauce (the best of Lyon apparently) and I was not disappointed. The cooking was perfect, the vegetables and the delicious gribiche. The plate was very copyy. I confirm it's one of the best veal heads I ate. For dessert I left on the imperial tangerine crêpes, not bad at all. The rum baba too was very good. Next time I will choose the iced cowrin, speciality of the house and which seemed huge!! A beautiful address so, to discover and in addition, you will have the smile and kindness of the restorer's wife, who deals with the room. Miam miam!
