YAAFA - Lyon

Wishing to finally taste the famous Yaafa falafels and not being from the neighborhood, I took a Y menu hungry to take away with a Greek pita falafel and spicy potatoes. I did not check my order when they gave it to me and I found myself without any sandwich/pita and with two spicy potatoes too cooked that is more. I realized of course once I arrived at my house, so it was too late to return. Disappointed not having been able to taste the falafels and frustrated having paid close to 10 € for potatoes and a drink...A retester may be but this time I will check the contents of my order to take away

The menu is correct in quantity but I found no flavor to food, the falafels do not taste Eastern falafels, too big and dry to my taste. The houmous is not worth the detour either and the quantity is more than mediocre on this accompaniment. No really “original” recipe since there’s carrots, cabbages in the pita bread that bears this name, which makes in no way think of an oriental sandwitch either.
