Bidra med feedbackLittle Istanbul is a Turkish restaurant situated outside the Hyperdome in Tuggeranong. It has both inside and outdoor seating. We decided to order the Sovereign Banquet which contains a number of courses, both meat and vegetable. $25.50 pp at lunchtime. . The first thing I noticed about Little Istanbul is how nice and spacious it is. You do not believe your neighbour will start eating off your plate in confusion when not finding their own. The staff are friendly, polite and attentive while seating us.
Ambience 4/5<br/ Food 3.5/5 <br/ Staff 4/4<br/ Overall 4/5 <br/ <br/ After reaching Canberra from Sydney after a long drive, we were really hungry. And to my amazement, Canberra has a lot of halal options to offer. Little Istanbul is rated #1 restaurant in Tugerragong, which is surprising because it has some very famous other great restaurants next to it. <br/ As soon as you enter, you get this awesome vibe, the staff is friendly, the restaurant is lively, the seating is bright. Its a fine dining halal restaurant which you hardly in this part of the world. <br/ So we ordered the sovereign banquet. It included 3 dips from the chef, zucchini balls, salad, turkish bread, choice of pide and rice with kebebs (shish and tavuk) <br/ Everything was great esp the zucchini balls. They were fried and had some amazing flavors. Everything tasted great. As mentioned earlier by others, they should add a bit more flavors to their kebabs. They are good but can be made better. Was disappointed with the quantity anf texture of rice though. Was a bit less and the rice is soggy. <br/ Overall was satisfied with the great food.
I've eaten quite a few times on business trips and have never been disappointed.<br/ <br/ Very tasty and spicy food, superbly presented and with attentive service.<br/ <br/ I love eating here.
Good place to eat. I like little Istanbul a lot, and eat there reasonably often, The meals are all beautifully prepared and served, the staff friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. I always enjoy the meats in particular However, there are other Turkish restaurants in town with more vivid, and possibly authentic, flavours (although not Fig and Olive in CHisholm). I think they need to punch up the spices, acidity and seasoning a notch or three and all would be perfect.
I have eaten here many times and the food is always great, really good Turkish food, great flavours and a good atmosphere. Would recommend dinner here.
