Goodfellows - Mackinac Island

We wanted a wine tasting, but we don't know what to expect. Our bartender asked what wines we prefer and then chose to try several for us. We enjoyed everything we tried (which usually does not happen with a wine tasting). We stayed so that I could have a glass of my favorite wine and my friend went to try Bourbon that the bartender recommended. It was a fun experience that I would recommend to everyone to relax and relax a quiet hour from the loud tourists.

Had such an amazing experience at Goodfellows thanks to Wally. He brought a great atmosphere to the room, fabulous energy and was incredibly knowledgeable about his wines!! Will definitely be back.

I had an enjoyable experience with excellent cocktails after the tour. The food was quite decent overall, although I was a bit let down by the Jackfruit Tacos, which turned out to be on the sweet side. However, the staff addressed this issue when we settled our bills. The Mules are a definite highlight and should not be missed. The space is spacious enough for large groups, and I really loved the ambiance of the place. The bar setup was nice, featuring an inviting selection of wings and other treats!

My husband and I ordered the white fish and chips because, after all, when you're on an island, seafood is a must! It turned out to be a great choice! The food was delicious, the prices were reasonable, the service was excellent, and the place was clean. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I think the outdoor area could be cleaner. Also, as shown in the photo, there were two fish fillets, so it would have been better to have either two individual cream sauces or a larger one. I wasn't the only one who requested an extra sauce. On a positive note, the portion size was generous!

The best spot on the island for food and drinks! The waitress was fantastic—knowledgeable about the menu and very attentive to our group's needs! I highly recommend this place! If I could, I would give it a 10-star rating. I was here three years ago, and it's still the best! The salad was huge, and the cash value was excellent!
