Jerk Shop Go - Macomb

I believe this is one of the best restaurants in this quaint little town. The portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable for the incredibly fresh, high-quality dishes. The restaurant truly understands the local taste preferences. The spice level adds a little kick, characteristic of the island's flavor, while still providing a delightful tang that reflects the essence of the Jamaican Caribbean. The chicken dishes are excellent and will have you craving a cold drink, making you think about planning a vacation to the South.

I've been eagerly anticipating this restaurant for quite a while. It's wonderful to finally have Caribbean cuisine available in our town. The flavors are fantastic, the portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. Be sure to try the chicken tips and grab some extra jerk sauce—you'll thank yourself later!

Nice place, good half-spicy different taste, really nice server. Something completely different for a city like Macomb. Her sauce is a mixture of sweet a spicy but not quite as thick as a traditional bbq. I like her fries too. I'll go back soon. I highly recommend it.

I love dining at one of my favorite spots in Makula! It's an underrated gem with a very friendly staff. They often treat my girlfriend and me to complimentary food; once, they even gave us free steak nachos after we mistakenly ordered shrimp. The steak tacos are my go-to—they're incredibly fresh and delicious. The only suggestion I have is that some of the younger or college-age employees could improve their customer service; they sometimes close 30 minutes early and don't always answer the phone.

Food is AMADING!! So many interesting flavors combined to make some gnarly food!! Wait time was a bit long, but it was a friday night. Only thing is some of it is kinda spicy and they had limited drink selections in cans. Still totally worth going, just a heads up, make sure you have a sip of you need it!! Fair prices and good portions. I had the steak nachos with doritos chips and it was fire. We also had some egg rolls with all kinds of crazy flavor, it was an food experience for us stuck here with no Caribbean ocean in sight!
