Long John Silver's - Macon

I visited this restaurant as a child with my parents and absolutely loved it. Now, I bring my own children here, and they adore it just as much. While the building is quite old, the food and service are outstanding. This place holds a special place in my heart, and the taste of the broken crumbs always brings back fond memories.

I ordered my favorites: the chicken and fish meal. The food came out quickly and hot, and they made sure I had all the necessary condiments. The smell was amazing. When I finally got home to eat, the food was still hot, which was great. Everything tasted fantastic and well-seasoned. The corn and green beans were also delicious; I was surprised at how fresh and flavorful they were. While I may not go out of my way to visit again since I'm not near the area, if I'm ever close by, I would definitely stop in again.

The food was good. However, it has been over a month since I first noticed the "Grilled Items Coming Soon" sign, and those items still haven't been available. When will they finally arrive?

The food and the service were good. the latest inspection has a 91. the system is really tired. it needed a refresh many years ago, but hasn't yet got any. the look of the building and parking caused us to meet almost another choice.

Almost nostalgic now to me, sometimes I stop just for the taste. For whatever reason, it may take a long time to get the food. Its still greasy, you can see it on the cruchies, no doubt. This is not healthy eating, its a comfort food that tastes the same for decades now. For the overly breaded shrimp, there's good slaw and hush puppies to make up for it.
