Cascades - Maddington

Cascades Cafe at Maddington makes the best scrambled eggs - just right consistency and generous quantity -$9.50. Their coffee is very good and piping hot. I am a repeat customer.

We like to go here on a Thursday for lunch every other week depending on what shift the hubby is on but their meals are basically reasonably priced and overall of good quality. They are basic and come with salad and chips as a whole unless you go with the all day breakfast options or hot meats in rolls or burgers (they come with chips) the chips most of the time are usually good. Desserts are standard, what's in the case. Service is generally good and staff are usually very accommodating, it is a case of pay at the counter when you order and take a number. Not unusual for tables to fill up about the 12.00 o'clock period and have people waiting to snare a table.

Love the nature, love the outdoors. It's a kid and dog friendly trail with spectacular views. Be sure to pack a hat, and water and even a picnic basket :)

Very good service very attentive with old people very fast clean good value please do not have little plastic dressing for salad when I tried it went over my slacks and on the floor have a small container ready to pour...over salat thank you.
