Bidra med feedbackAs other critics note, the price is quite a shock, also for a tourist beach location. You can buy a meal elsewhere at the price of a cone. However, if you are ready to splurge, the ice cream and homemade cones are delicious. We ordered coconut sorbet an unusual and delightful treat.
John's Pass is a lovely little town with great seafood, charming shops and to top it off with a Kohr's Frozen Custard cone as we walked around town, looking into shop windows, was perfect. I had the peanut butter and chocolate twist, just as I remembered it from trips to the Jersey Shore. Wonderful!
If you want to eat the most expensive ice cream go here. I got a vanilla orange twist cone. It is supposed to be custard. However, it had ice crystals and the orange had a bitter after taste like the rind was included. Not at all what I remembered on the New Jersey boardwalks. The pricing was not posted or displayed. I am sorry that I did not ask. I was shocked when she told me 8.52! The cone was a regular size. I found out later that the waffle cone would have been over 10.00!!! Wish I would have consulted yelp before I went there. Who would have thought such outrageous prices.
This is NOT frozen custard. Not only is this just soft-serve, but it 's bad soft-serve. Frozen custard has a high content of butterfat which is not anywhere to be found in this place. Service is the couldn 't care less type of friendliness. The ONLY thing that was redeeming was the fresh waffle cone. BUT, that doesn 't make up for the ridiculous $10+ cost for a regular cone. I felt like I was totally scammed. By the look on the staff 's ' faces, they seem to know it too. Stay away.
Visited this place several times and every visit is awful! They don't give you the flavor of ice cream you order, they give you whatever they want! They barely understand English so you can't complain about the wrong ice cream you're given. $8 per person for wrong ice cream isn't worth it!
