Clam Castle - Madison Center

Has gone down hill since it changed owners. Food is okay but not as good as it was. Seems like they care more about the tacos than the seafood. Tonight I had fried clam strips. The coleslaw wasn’t any good. Clam strips were okay but a lot of small broken pieces. Then to top it off, almost broke my tooth on a piece of clam shell that had the fried coating on it. I’ve had clam strips plenty of times before and that’s a first. Wouldn’t be quick to go back.

My wife and i stopped the other day we always enjoyed the CC., until the the other day. It was not good. Fish taco was totally impossible to eat it was so soggy, my wifes broiled scallops were a joke. Loaded with some liquid and the tiny amount were lousy. On a bright note the french fries were great, and the NE clam chowder was exactly like Before taco. Sorry CC but i'm all done.

A fun seasonal restaurant with great food! Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly!

Had a great time with friends at the outdoor dining area. Chowder was excellent! Also had clam strips and fish tacos! All very good.
