Tai Pan Bakery - Madison Heights

I adore this bakery! I've been a regular for years, and I stopped by this morning to find the bread so warm that I couldn't help but eat a piece as soon as I got to my car. The staff are friendly, and the bread is consistently delicious. I wish this business many more years of success!

I truly enjoy visiting authentic Chinese bakeries. Whenever I go, I like to pick up several items. I highly recommend the sponge cake, egg cake, sticky rice, curry bun, hot dog bun, and especially the durian crispy cake! I have complete faith in the quality of their offerings, and everything I've tried has been delicious. I'm still exploring their menu!

I've been coming here for years! Everything is delicious, and you can't make a bad choice. The prices are fantastic, and the owners are incredibly friendly. This is my favorite Chinese bakery in the area!

This bakery is really hidden and the price is also reasonable. There is so much to choose from like pastries, rolls, cakes. You have to try everything slowly to know what you like here. If your allergic to wheat, they have rice cake. This bakery is not 100% gluten-free. My favorite bunker is the roasted pork bunker and egg-cutard tart. Will be back soon. Too many bubbles of tea flavored out and I love their coffee taste much. P.S cash only!!! Sometimes I forget to bring money.

An amazing bakery!! Personally, Tai Pan is my favorite bakery. The store offers a case full of cakes and other sweet choices, while there is also a shelf of buns ranging from hot dog to red bean. The family that owns the place is always really nice and the store is always clean and welcoming. The buns and cakes are always a delicious treat! The triangle cakes always have a subtle sweetness, and are light and spongey. The cakes have flavors that include chocolate, pandan coffee, banana, vanilla, and lemon. They all have a whipped cream filling, except for the lemon which has a delicious curd and the banana. They also come in a roll size to share. There are also decorated cakes to order for birthdays or parties. Definitely a place to go if you're in the area!!
