Bidra med feedbackDoesn't look much from the outside but they actually decorate the place very nicely. The tables are made of beautiful patterned tiles and the ambiance was pretty nice. The menu consists of Thai and Vietnamese cuisine, just as the name described, and is huge. There should be something for everyone. The place is vegetarian/vegan friendly as well. I ordered Ca Kho Tho, which is Vietnamese braised fish. My friend ordered a tofu and vegetable red curry, and we shared a papaya salad. The entree also comes with white rice. The presentation was nice. The curry was delicious and you can decide on your preferred spiciness. It was huge you might have some leftover to bring home. My fish was tender and they were generous with the portion, however by the end of it I think it felt too salty. I developed quite an unquenchable thirst after. However, overall I think we had quite a pleasant dinner. Service is okay and price is reasonable.
I cannot recommend this place enough. I 've been here many, many times but this time I brought friends from out of town. Their comments were, I love everything about this place, and this food is absolutely outstanding. I 100 percent echo their opinions and will continue to be a repeat customer. The food is fresh and off the charts delicious. The service is great and the owner is extremely friendly and attentive. The soups are right up there with some of my favorite things. When I get takeout, I can 't resist getting multiple Hue Spicy Soups (Bo Bun Hue, I think). It 's absolute gold. Full flavor, fresh ingredients and just enough heat. I love the vermicelli noodles with many of the same characteristics fresh, flavorful and super high quality. We got the shrimp for the first time this visit and it was outstanding sweet and spicy shrimp, will definitely get it again. I believe it was number 160. Please support this local gem!
Tonight I went here for dinner for the first time in over 5 years, and it was just as good as I remembered! They did some updating to the interior I guess not too long ago and it look completely different inside. I was craving pork chops (com suon, #108) and my go to place for them was closed and I heard they had good pork chops here. I have to tell you they were very good and they are almost as good as my favorite place. I would add tho they are about $4 more here tho. Their fresh rolls, #18 were excellent, as flavorful and hearty and I think you get a larger portion here. The service was good as it was in the past and they are very pleasant. I think this place is back on rotation for really good Vietnamese restaurants in the area!
Needs to be cleaner, and it's not really a dine in restaurant so much anymore. Only 3 tables. So, only come for takeout. Food is good, not awesome. Example: Last time we went, an employee was seated eating at a table just before they sat us there they made him get up l, and didn't even wipe the table down, we had to ask.
OMG BECKY it's a PHO ALERT!!! I was not feeling well and I felt run down. Derrick knew exactly just what I needed. We ordered the fresh rolled shrimp rolls with peanut sauce it was very good. Derrick ordered from the appetizer menu the beef rolls. They were ok. The flavor is a little too deep for me. The Pho was absolutely incredible!!! I have tied several bowls in the past 5 years and this place is doing it right!!! The broth is perfect. It has the right level of spice and everything nice. I can't get it out of mind. I am already looking forward to our next visit. The service was excellent and you will be happy you tried the Pho. I had the beef just (beef) no additional meat was added. I like the newly decorated place. We went to the place about 4 years ago. It actually helps you feel better when your feeling run down. Enjoy and have a wonderful visit.
