El Aguaje - Madison

This was our second visit to the restaurant and everything was perfect on both occasions. We are already planning to go back. In terms of kid-friendliness, it would be good.

I frequently order the Chicken Chimichanga from El Aguaje, as the variety of toppings always pleases my taste buds. While I usually get take-out, the wait staff is friendly and the atmosphere inside the restaurant is welcoming and family-friendly. The interior design pays homage to Mesoamerican heritage, adding a rich touch to the dining experience. Despite being located in a U-Haul parking lot, the restaurant maintains a bustling business alongside the neighboring events center. This could be seen as a drawback, but it is common in the Gallatin Pike/Rivergate area.

I had a great time at this restaurant for lunch. The food and service were both fantastic.

They forgot an item, and instead of refunding it, forced me to drive back and said I had to bring back all the items. They said they were going to pull up the camera to check if they put it in the bag, but still said I had to come back. I got there, and they said they didn't have time to check over the 15 minute drive i had to get back. I reminded them I had ice cream and other hot food the distance I had to drive my food would be cold. They didn't care. They said just use a microwave. By the time I got back, the ice cream had completely melted, partially spilled in the bag, and food was cold. The food wasn't even good on top of all of that. Some of it tasted burnt. Highly disappointed the money I had to spend was not worth it. Never going back.

Worse customer service every . Order on the phone . Arrived to pick up no food was ready for me . When I spoke with a employee who took my order over the phone . Once I arrived a young man approached did not understand what I was saying, to him. Gave them my order again he just walked away an said nothing . I left this restaurant and will never return again . I DO NOT Recommend to any one in the Madison area .Parking: THEY SUCK
