The bread was dry, and the sandwich was burnt on one side. For a $14 sandwich combo, it felt like a poor value. I’ll look for a better option next time. Overall, I’d rate the food a 3 out of 5.

The quality has significantly declined since my last visit. The Hook and Ladder sandwich had very little meat on it, while the other sandwich was small, bland, and poorly constructed—almost like a bad burrito with everything piled on one end. It's quite disappointing that the sandwich selection in Madison is so lacking.

I asked about management's involvement due to some issues with food supply, but the person I spoke to appeared unhelpful and lacked knowledge. It felt as if she would rather be elsewhere, lost in her own world, which was distracting, especially with young employees chatting loudly in earshot of customers. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend wasting your time here. It seems like the management needs a complete overhaul, as the staff doesn't appear to be well-trained or experienced. The parking situation is chaotic, the location is less than ideal, and the overall atmosphere makes you feel unwelcome. In short, I would advise steering clear of this place.

This store is one of my favorite spot for lunch with my colleague. But its not for today.My complaint includes: there is smoke inside the store and cause the air looks cloudy, multiple soda ran out, paper napkin is also out. I can give these issues an excuse when sometime its just a bad/busy day.However, I have to write this message because it gets worse. My sub got wet, the pickle is mushy and not crunchy at all. Also, the lady shows that she doesnt want to welcome us. Im so upset writing this comment but I hope these issues wont happen on my next visit.
