Firehouse Subs Madison Corners

So it was awkward from the moment we walked in. 2 people ordered ahead of us and were told only the diet drinks were working. When they were done ordering, the guy taking orders left to fill the ice machine. So we wait. A few minutes later, a lady walks in and asks us if we were waiting to order. I said yes we are. When I said that the girl behind the counter gives me a dirty look, rips off her gloves and stands in front of the register and stares at me. I took that as my clue to go ahead and order cause she said nothing. Just stared. It took forever to get the food. Will not be back.

Asked for turkey and cheese plain. Specified I can not have mayo due to allergy. They put mayo on both sides of the bun, added lettuce to both sides, and tomato to one. I’m allergic to mayo. This sandwich is inedible. The girl was incredibly rude and it took them 20 minutes (no one else was in the store) to make 1 sandwich for me. They charged me $15 for an inedible sandwich after I disclosed an allergy and were even rude about it. Absolutely awful.

Pretty good subs. Rarely busy and has outdoor seating.

Walked in 3 people making sandwiches, one in the back talking loudly to a friend on her phone and swearing. Co workers were looking back at her in disgust embarrassment. Finally wrapped up her conversation and came to the front. I place my order and she says … “it’s going to be a long time” … ok, like how long? I’m the only one here. I get told they have 15-20 online orders to do before they can make my sandwich. I’m paying cash. I’m right in front of you…. I don’t understand how things can’t be easier. Let me offer advice. We have a ton of online orders to get to, we will complete a couple of these orders and slide yours in. Would you be ok with a 10 min wait? I would’ve said sure and had a seat. Instead I get it’s going to be a long time and 4 people watch me walk right out. Was really looking forward to it as I’m in from out of town and we do not have a Firehouse close to me. Terrible service, will not return.
